About the project
This project was designed around the pace of a real hospitality desk: rooms change status, guests ask questions, housekeeping needs direction, and managers need the day summarized without calling three people.
The platform brings reservation tools, availability views, guest profiles, booking details, housekeeping queues, and operational dashboards into one system. Instead of separate spreadsheets, calendar notes, and manual handoffs, staff can work from a shared source of truth.
The experience was shaped to feel polished for management and practical for the people using it all day. Quick scanning, clear room status updates, clear booking paths, and useful alerts are the core of the interface.
Challenges
- Keeping room availability accurate while supporting booking changes, cancellations, and check-in status.
- Designing workflows that work for front desk, housekeeping, managers, and guests.
- Reducing manual communication between reservation management and room preparation.
- Giving managers reporting visibility without slowing down daily operations.
Solutions
- Designed reservation screens that show room type, date range, guest information, status, and payment context.
- Planned room status workflows for available, occupied, cleaning, maintenance, and out-of-service rooms.
- Created housekeeping views that focus only on the rooms and tasks that need attention.
- Structured reporting around occupancy, bookings, revenue signals, cancellations, and operational workload.
